Entrevest is proud to announce its investment in Farow, an innovative healthtech company based in Hasselt, focused on improving the quality of life for people with brain disorders such as epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease. Farow, formerly known as Epihunter, recently raised 1.6 million euros in a new funding round, with strong support from both existing and new investors. Entrevest is pleased to contribute as a strategic investment partner to the company’s further expansion.
Farow develops digital solutions that combine wearable EEG technology with artificial intelligence to provide both therapeutic and non-therapeutic interventions for people with brain disorders. Thanks to Farow’s technology, epileptic absence seizures can be detected and monitored in real time, benefiting not only the patients but also their environment, such as parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals. This contributes to better care, faster diagnoses, and more targeted treatments.
With the new investment, Farow will expand its technology to address other brain disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, and continue to innovate in digital therapeutic solutions. Farow has already collaborated with leading scientists and medical institutions, and its technology has proven to contribute to the effectiveness of new medications in clinical studies, such as the Phase 2 trial by Bright Minds Biosciences for drug-resistant epilepsy.

Tim Buckinx, CEO and founder of Farow, explains: “Our mission is to reduce the impact of brain disorders as much as possible. Thanks to the investment, we can now take a big step forward in expanding our technology to other brain diseases and innovating in digital treatments.”
